Application Procedure

Applications are accepted for three positions annually in a four-year program of categorical psychiatry residency training.

All applications to the Centerstone Psychiatry Residency Training Program are accepted through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS).

This includes, but is not limited to, the following:

  • Curriculum Vitae
  • Personal Statement
  • Dean’s Letter
  • Official Medical School Transcript
  • Three Letters of Recommendation

Centerstone is able to consider applicants with J-1 and H-1 Visas; however, please note that for H-1 Visas, applicants must have passed all three steps of the USMLE exam at the time of application.

Applicant Interviews

Interview days are on Fridays from October to the beginning of January. The Residency Training Office will contact applicants accepted for interviews. You will be asked to complete a form indicating your areas of interest in Psychiatry, to match you with faculty members who have expertise in your particular areas of interest. During the interview days you will have the opportunity to tour our facilities and spend time with the training directors.
