Welcome to the Centerstone Residency Training Program in Psychiatry.
Our residency is designed to provide a comprehensive training in psychiatry that fosters excellence in client care and practical awareness of the latest academic research in mental health and substance abuse. Centerstone Hospital & Addiction Center and Clinics are the major teaching areas for our residents. Centerstone Hospital is the largest private, non-academic, non-profit psychiatric hospital in the region and provides care for adults, adolescents and children. For internal medicine, Northside Hospital is a 288-bed facility located in St. Petersburg, Florida offering a full range of services, including interventional stroke and neurologic care, full-service orthopedic and spine treatment, a 24-hour emergency department, preventative and corrective cardiac care, and general surgery. For neurology, we are affiliated with The Roskamp Institute, located in Sarasota, Florida, which is devoted to understanding causes and finding cures for neuropsychiatric and neurodegenerative disorders and addictions through active research in Alzheimer's Disease, Cerebrovascular Disease, Inflammaging Disorders, Drug Demand Reduction, Traumatic Brain Injury, Tourette’s Syndrome and Childhood Disorders.
